The W890 is one of the newer Walkman phones around.its dimension are extremely compact, and the phone is very slim(half the size of N95). The screen although small sports a high resolution of 240×320 pixels and at 78 grams the W890 won’t damage your shirt pocket. Build quality is also pretty good, and although metal hasn’t been used in the construction everything feels solid and well put together even after a week of usage.
The keypads is slightly cramped, but taking into consideration that this is a small phone Sony has done a commendable job of using every available millimeter of space to prevent the keypad from becoming a serious hindrance to usage. The W890 is a snappy phone, and it has a nice 3.15 megapixel camera that offers some good result. In terms of connectivity the W890 is loaded, and WiFi is the only trick it misses out on. If you are looking for  a very compact, light phone with a good music quality and a good camera then W890 makes a good buy.
Heavily Armoured Foe

Nokia’s 6500 has the best slider mechanism one has seen from any Nokia phone barring the Sirocco. Its outer body is built out of brush steel, which exudes a quality feel. Needless to say the phone’s heavy, although you’d be hard pressed to find better quality. The keypad is well laid out but the buttons are a little flat. The quality of accessories is as good as we’ve seen, and a TV out cable has been provided; just like N95 and the N82-both much costlier phones! The 2.2-inch screen features a high resolution of 240×320 pixels and has a rich 16 million colors. Camera and music playback quality are well above the par, although not enough to sway a purchasing decision solely on their performance.
Although it is well built, the look itself is unexciting, and may not inspire interest when compared to its beautiful siblings the 6500 slides makes a good buy for some one looking for a feature-rich, usable and very sturdy cellphone. Expect too much in the way of good looks from it and you’re going to be disappointed.

Samsung SGH-F330Samsung has already launched a whole heap of mobile phones this year, and while most of the handsets it had on display at IFA in Berlin today saw light of day way back at 3GSM in March, one phone did catch our eye.Say hello to the SGH-F330 music phone, a slider with cool white styling and a dedicated music-key cluster that's almost iPod-like in its clean lines. It has 1GB of on-board song storage - there's a Micro SD card slot for more - and a radio for when you tire of your own tunes. It'll play MPEG 4 video on its 2.1in, 240 x 320, 262,144-colour display too. It's a 3G phone - the hard-to-see front-facing video call camera's in the top right of the picture - and has 3.6Mbps HSDPA download technology on board too. There's a two-megapixel camera on the back. It should come as no great surprise that the F330 is fitted out with Bluetooth and wireless stereo support.
